I was invited to spend a week this month taking photos with a friend and his wife in Utah. We visited Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks, and stopped off at Valley of Fire State Park and Lake Mead National Recreation Area on return loop from Bryce.
It was absolutely gorgeous weather during the week, with cloudless skies allowing reasonable star shots despite the nearly full moon. Ran into an early season snowstorm the day we reached the higher elevation of Bryce, which made for some nice shots of the canyon scenery even though visibility was limited.
I've added a few photos to my portfolios. More images are available on my Instagram feed. Enjoy!
