Just returned from several days of skiing and photos in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Alta, Utah. Great weather and terrific skiing. My nephew and I flew into Jackson in a snowstorm, spent two days in bumps and powder, then drove north to Moose to photograph the Tetons at first light. We also managed to spot a bison who posed for us in front of the mountains.
We then followed the Snake River valley south through Hoback, Wyoming to Garden City, Utah, which offered nice views of the very blue Bear Lake. After traversing Logan Canyon, we made our way to Alta, where we met up with an old college friend of mine. The snow coverage there is good this year, so we managed to get access to most of the great terrain that resort has to offer.
